It doesn't seem possible that it is real. And if it is real, then I take offense at the person calling him/herself a DBA as no good DBA would ever recommend/promote something like that with all of the security and performance implications.

Is there any truth to this story? Since I'm not familiar with the %1% syntax. It was written on April Fool, but the ACCT_ID is numeric and its data is passed in as string.

If this syntax works, it actually solves a lot of problems for me since I'm trying to create dynamic ORDERY BY for my paging queries. I can't imagine how the query3 is written though since %1% is not a parameter.
