Free Seminar: SQL Server 2005: Built for the Enterprise

The folks that brought you the SQL Server Roadshow have a free seminar for SQL Serve 2005.  It focuses on the DBA side and looks pretty interesting.  Their marketing pitch reads:

In this free, half-day event you’ll learn how the top new features of SQL Server 2005 will help you create and manage large-scale, mission-critical, enterprise database applications -- making your job easier. Find out how to leverage SQL Server 2005’s new capabilities to best support your business initiatives.

Register now and you will:

  • Discover what enhancements and improvements have been made to relational engine and business intelligence platforms in Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
  • Better understand SQL Server 2005's architectural enhancements in relational and analytical engines.
  • Learn about deploying Intel-based 32-bit and 64-bit Unisys server technology for SQL Server 2005 applications.

Now if I could just get them to bring this to Kansas City...

Has anyone been to one of these events? I'm signed up for the NYC show for this Thursday afternoon.

I'm interested to hear whether the event is just marketing, or whether it will be useful for a dba/t-sql developer at a small software company.
