Women in Tech at PASS Summit >>
PASS Debut
I've attended every
PASS Summit
since 2002. While there is always a lot of quality technical content presented, I particularly admire the speakers who really make their sessions interesting and engaging. There are a number of such speakers, but three of my personal favorites are Kimberly Tripp, Kalen Delaney and Andrew Kelly. I highly recommend you attend a session presented by any of these speakers.
Over the years I would occasionally consider trying to become a speaker myself, but it wasn't until this year that I followed through and actually submitted an abstract for consideration. I had completed a complex project that involved adoption of the XML data type and I thought others might be interested in hearing about it. I was honored when my abstract was chosen to be part of the program.
So I'm making my PASS speaking debut with
XML in My Database!
My session is scheduled for Friday at 2:30 pm. I hope you'll find the topic intriguing enough to walk in the room. I'll do everything I can to make it interesting enough that you want to stay.
