I'm sure the sessions on Yukon today were great, but I didn't go so I can't tell you. But then again, I was reminded that I wouldn't have been able to tell you anyway because Microsoft was making people sign NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements).
So, to kick off the conference in fine style, I had a late dinner with Lance Harra (a.k.a. JohnDeere) after he got into town tonight. He's the one who reminded me about the NDAs, but also pointed out, "What are they going to cover there that won't come out during the hands-on labs?" Or, for that matter, that wasn't already shown/discussed/blogged about from the PDC? So, anyway, kicked off the conference in style. There's nothing like catching up with folks over good food, and swapping a few horror stories. Lance will be taking advantage of one of the seminars tomorrow with Kimberly Tripp that is all about indexes. I hope he'll blog about it.
OH AND... Double bonus points to you if you immediately knew who the quote in the Subject line of this post was from without having to look it up.
