SQL Server 2005 SP3 + SP3 CU1 is now available

Microsoft has released SQL Server 2005 service pack 3 and cumulative update package 1 for service pack 3.  For more information about SP3, check this out.  For more information about SP3 CU1, check this out.  If you upgrade to just SP3, your SQL Server version will be 9.00.4035.  If you upgrade to SP3 CU1, your version will be 9.00.4205.

Make sure you also update Books Online on your client machine.  You can get the newest version of BOL here.

The page was fine this morning, but it seems Microsoft now has revoked the page.
You will get "Sorry, but we couldn't find the page that you requested." when trying to access to link conrtent.

Fantastic Blog and thanks for the code you're provided. Any idea what's happened to CU 1 for SP3. I can find several references to it though sadly no download link and the URL for SP3 has been updated to remove reference to it.

Apparently Microsoft decided to delay the launch of SP3 CU1. I'm not sure when it'll be available again.

Has anyone had any problems installing and/or using SP3? Has anyone had to back-out SP3?
