PASS Summit 2003 - Day 3 - VB.NET gets some respect
I didn't make any official study of this, but I did notice that in the only two sessions (one of them being the Keynote by Microsoft Vice President Gordon Mangione) where I heard a .NET language specifically mentioned, it was VB.NET. This jumps out at me because I read so many complaints from the PDC that C# was getting all the mention and VB was being ignored or even slighted, "yet again". I don't know if VB's prominence was a conscious choice by Microsoft trying to get a bunch of whiners to shut up, or if it was just a coincidence, but either way, was nice to hear.
